WGU D487 (Secure Software Design) Exam retake experience: what actually changed

Failed D487 first try, mostly because I underestimated how scenario-heavy the exam is. Studied the course material front to back, felt solid on secure SDLC and OWASP concepts, but got tripped up by questions that dropped you into a specific situation and asked what you'd do next. That style of question wasn't something I'd practiced at all going in.
Before the retake I switched to practicing with CertBoosters, mainly for the closer-to-exam question format. Went through a few rounds, focused on where I kept getting confused (secure requirements gathering), and passed the second attempt without much stress. If you're only reading the course PDFs for D487, I'd add scenario practice into the rotation, that's the piece that was actually missing for me.
