Had to share this, because honestly it sort of shifted how i think about getting car stuff sorted. Like I've always just gone to the same garage i've used for years whenever i needed tires, nothing awful with them. Pretty decent place, but it always turned into booking in advance, leaving the car there, then figuring out how to get to work, and then going back to pick it up later. It was more of this whole production than it really needed to be, you know.
My neighbor mentioned he'd been using Mobile Tire Fitting Newport for the past year, and he was going on and on about it like i should give it a try. I finally listened to a couple of weeks ago, when i noticed my rear tires were looking pretty worn out and needing swapping before winter.
I booked the evening before. Got a confirmation straight away, and the fitter was at my door by half nine the next morning. He had a quick look at both rear tires and just said straight what needed doing, and then he had two new tires fitted plus balanced by ten o clock. I didn't move the car from the driveway once, not even an inch, which was weirdly refreshing.
What really stood out was how professional it felt. Proper kit, decent tires, and the fitter clearly knew what he was doing. It didn't feel like I was settled for anything smaller, compared with a garage. It just felt like a smarter way to handle the exact same job, honestly.
Newport has loads of options if you want the traditional route for tire work, but after trying mobile tire fitting i sincerely can't see myself going back. The convenience alone is basically the main point. And the price was completely fair on top of that too.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone in Newport who keeps putting off getting their tires done , just because it's a hassle.
