Hollow Bathroom Tiles and Grout Issues – Anyone Dealt With This?

Has anyone here noticed their bathroom tiles starting to feel slightly loose or hollow when you tap on them? I've been dealing with this in my apartment for a few months now and initially thought it was just a cosmetic grout issue, but after doing some research I'm starting to think moisture seeping through deteriorated grout lines may have weakened the adhesive behind the tiles over time.
I've been looking into grouting services in chennai to get the grout lines properly replaced before the problem gets any worse, and came across resin grouting as a more durable alternative to the standard cement grout that was originally used. What I'm not sure about is whether replacing the grout at this stage will be enough to stabilize the tiles, or whether the adhesive damage underneath needs to be addressed separately before re-grouting.
Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation and found a contractor who was upfront about what the job was actually involved rather than just quoting for a surface-level grout replacement? I'd rather understand the full scope of the problem now than discover later that the tiles need to be pulled out and reset because the underlying issue wasn't addressed properly the first time. Any advice or recommendations from people who've gone through this would be really helpful.
