Types of hazards

1. Environmental hazard

Before we leave home, we can already think about possible dangers on the road.
A trip to a familiar city.
What kind of traffic is expected along your route? Supermarkets, schools, parking lots, pedestrians, and potholes. If you're driving at night, consider road lighting. Consider weather conditions: air temperature, rain, and wind.

2. Visible danger
The surrounding danger has become a visible danger.
For example, there's a row of parked cars on the right, and only one has a driver sitting in it, hands on the wheel. This car is at risk because the driver's actions are difficult to predict. They could suddenly take off and make a U-turn across four lanes.

Visible danger can be dynamic and static.

Dynamic visible hazard
For example, a car leaving a residential area. In a DVO, we must instantly and automatically apply our skills and knowledge, make ourselves visible, take the appropriate lane, and select a possible escape route.

A static visible hazard is one that doesn't move. For example, a hole, rails, or a puddle.

3. Imminent danger
A car is blocking your path; you need to apply emergency braking or make a sharp maneuver.
Thankyou!
