The disadvantages of Honda CR-V are weak acceleration with the basic 1.5L turbo engine (8.8 sec for 0-60), a hard ride over bumps, and unsatisfactory fit-and-finish such as uneven panel gaps and plastic-like materials. A few models have problems with soft brake feeling and small screens for infotainment in lower trims. Nevertheless, Honda CR-V continues to be trustworthy for everyday use, however, the gap between CR-V and HR-V points out its less agile driving in cramped areas.
