What's interesting is that the property market here is still affordable compared to other Mediterranean destinations, yet it offers similar lifestyle advantages.

Many investors are looking at coastal cities like Budva, Kotor, and Tivat, where luxury apartments and villas have strong rental potential thanks to tourism growth. At the same time, inland areas offer more budget-friendly options like countryside houses and land for development. Plus, foreigners are allowed to buy property with almost the same rights as locals, and taxes are relatively low - which makes the market even more appealing.

Of course, there are challenges too. Rental demand is often seasonal, and property paperwork can sometimes be complicated. That's why experts most recommend working with professional agents and lawyers to make sure everything is clear before buying.
